I dunno about the reviewers'copy of Apotheose Porno but i have the original German tape Wunsche und Perversionen,which is correctly id as the same film.

But the story of mine is quite different,
namely starts w Jacques Marboef taking pictures of ? in a park,which quickly develops to a sex in the grass, then the rest of the cast join them(in watching).

They decide to go in the house where an orgy starts, Alban Ceray getting a bj(not credited in your review,there's no Richard Allan here tho)
Marie-Pierre(i think)Castel is in this too.
sorry but i'm not good at all in explaining sex scenes, since i don't have the
mind to remember those names.. especially since there ain't no pix of the
guys for reference.
Do know that there's a scene w JL Vattier and a girl who passes out as
dead,he clothes her and then she comes to.

the orgy goes on as usual.

that's about it,
maybe somebody could compare this w other Jean Rollin/Michel Gentil movies...

I don't remember the Jean-Louis Vattier scene you describe, but I'd have to watch it again to be sure.

It may well be that we have different versions of the same film. And it could well be that mine (obtained from a US site) was changed and edited for US release.

The Castel twin in the woods could well be the other twin from the one in the scene indoors with Guy Royer. I can't tell the two apart, but only Catherine was credited - as Cathy Castel.

I'll have to watch it again to check on Richard Lemieuvre / Alban Ceray question and I can't do that at the moment. Lemieuvre almost always had a beard and Ceray was almost always clean shaven.

I can't remember whether it was dubbed, but my version has French credits - Avia films pr?sente un film ?crit et realis? par Michel Gand avec - etc.

Another possibility is that Apoth?ose Porno (if that is the correct title of my copy) made use of a lot of footage from an earlier film which is the one you describe.

I have checked my french original tapes called "apotheose porno" and it is not the same film as yours.
The film is credited on screen to Michel Gand and on the color cover to Robert Xavier. No doubt the film was directed by Jean Rollin.
Same credits as Alec.
The film start with a sex scene between richard lemieuvre and a girl during about 10 minutes. Then MP Castel comes to suck Lemieuvre. Then MP Castel go in another room with guy royer, she shows his ass and then they watch a film on a big screen. On this film we can see 3 girls naked into the woods etc. etc.

The running time of my tape is 69'.

Mr Straightedge's description corresponds with the copy I have - Carole Gire/Chris Martin is one of the girls in the wood and a fine figure of a woman she is too

what label is the french dub, Alpha Video?
i have the German dub,from Mike Hunter Video,i think.

Could be that they put the wrong movie out..
Strange that they put that alt. title in all Rollin filmo's.

I'm curious which one this is,then.

Robert Xavier is a pseudo for several Rollins porn movies.
The french release was Topodis video.
Date of release : 1982
