Paul Raymond Awards

Not sure if it's a repeat but the Paul Raymond Awards are on Showcase TV from 10pm - 11pm - i.e now.
It's not really a very glamourous setting for what should be a glamourous bash and just makes it all look cheap and tacky. They could have at least made a bit more of an effort.
I'm sure it will be repeated for those who miss it.

Oh I dont know. I thought the Cafe de Paris was the perfect venue. The opening scene to Scandal the film about Profumo /Keeler was shot there. And apart from the rather high drinks prices after the free sparkling wine gave out, I had a great evening along with some old faces from this very forum.

Maybe it was how it came across on TV - poor camera work/sound etc
Lexi Lowe came across as a classy lady.

I was looking for the "like" on your comment Andy but remebered Im back on the BGAFD
I thought the Paul Raymond event was great. It was big bold and brassy in a great venue. I had a jolly good night and it was nice to see some sparring partners in good spirits
