Post by David Johnson »

Seasonal Greetings to one and all.

Some of you may well enjoy this film by Julien Temple - "The ecstasy of Wilko Johnson".

Wilko's attitude to his prognosis was humbling.
No withdrawal into a shell after been given ten months to live, he continued touring and made an album with Roger Daltery.
An excellent documentary about a remarkable man.

Yes David I saw the documentary really inspiring,I had a cancer scare a while ago and I was absolutely terrified. After I was given the all-clear I decided to take more chances in my life, become slightly more reckless as much as a middle aged disable man can be. I read in an interview by Wilko post the documentary that now he his cured he is moaning about life again, I suppose ecstasy cannot be sustained.
