The idiot left fukwit gimps slagging off female Tory MPs while at the same time saying 'we' need more women in politics as part of International Women's Day made me laugh....

Yeah, if they want more women in politics they have to like them all including their politics.

Bit like saying we need more trained immigrant nurses to keep the NHS going and that we must never criticise any of them.

Makes sense to me........err, perhaps not.

We had to cover International Womens Day when I was at college, well, we tried to. but it seem to have been twinned with International Men-haters day as well, every event we turned up to cover was operating a 'No Men' policy.

The press who turned up to cover it were turned away and asked to send female staff instead, of course they just left and no-one ever came back, then, as now, it was just a subject no-one was interested in.

So much for equality.

I was not thinking that on womens day.

I was wondering why 3 young educated muslim women go off to become Jihadi Brides. Very strange indeed for women born and raised in the UK?

I mean women have fought for the right to vote. To get equal employment oppotunities. Equal pay which they still haven't got. I could understand a little if they had a poor education or came from a different country.

I agree - very strange.

Having said that some of them were only 15 years old so heaven knows what weird and wonderful ideas they had about what it is was going to be like.

I know nothing about their family life but if they had a strict upbringing then I guess it is easier to get drawn into some fantasy world on the Internet in the absence of a broader social education in their everyday life.

I seem to recall one guy who got sent down for his involvement with ISIS in Syria on his return to the UK , had been sending texts to friends complaining about the lack of moisturiser and toilet paper in the warzone.

Not having a pop David but I thought arabs washed their arses which is why they only eat with one hand.

Trouble with a lot of so-called "feminists" is that they only demand "equality" when it's in their favour. Kind of equality a la carte. I've lost count of the women I've known down the years who have tub-thumped about "women's rights" one day, then played the "helpless female" the next. Makes my piss boil.

Dunno. Maybe not, if you were brought up in Hackney eh?

I doubt if many of the toilets in Hackney have ensuite bidets or a strategically placed bucket of water.

I went to college in Hackney back in the 70's and I can't remember seeing sny public toilets. By the same token, I can't remember seeing many arabs. I was up the Persian Gulf many times in the 70's/80's and many arabs would have a little tin tied somewhere on their person. I was informed that they filled this with water from whatever source was available so they could give their arses a wash.

Yes, Arab countries often have a standpipe rather than bog roll.

No apostrophes in 70s/80s btw.
