Miss World ditches bikinis

I see that the Miss World organisers are ending the bikini section of the
beauty pageant because they say, "It does nothing for women." Perhaps
not, but short of a nude Miss World competition, it certainly did something
for me !!!
What does the Team think ?

Depends on how Miss World is judged. Is it just based on looks, personality, hair and all-round sex appeal? Then bikinis aren't needed. If a woman's figure and physique come into it then obviously a bikini is best suited to show that, making it a daft decision. That's my objective, sensible answer.
Personally, I like looking at beautiful women in bikinis so I'd be outraged (if I ever watched Miss World competitions).

Let's just call it like it is. Whatever explanations/excuses are given about bikinis not being 'relevant' or whatever, it's yet another example of pandering to the po-faced feminist lobby.

Miss World to me suggests brains and beauty. Bikinis an nice high heels are a respectable way to show a womans healthy physique and if she has brains too then this is what Miss World would mean to me
Otherwise they may as well ban it altogether like theyre trying to ban everything like Page 3

Didn't even realise it was still running. Mate's mother came second in Miss UK in the 1970s and they had to wear one piece costumes. Still gorgeous at 60!
