A festive 'fav' thread...

Following on from the recent 'favourite x' type threads this week, I'd thought I'd get people's views on something a little more festive for this time of year.
What are people's favourite Christmas carols?
Strangely, anti-theist that I am, I find the religious carols the most beautiful and the secular 'Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer' types songs generally horrendous.
Here's mine: it's been posted on here before a few years ago I think, but worth another listen:

Away in a Manger always takes me back to happier times and school plays.

Reminds me of having to sing carols at school.
I had to go to a carol concert the other evening.
I sang "While shepherds washed their socks by night" just out of badness.

I am too much of an atheist these days to tolerate any xmas carols...
In my youth, a loooong time ago back in Germany, I preferred the less religious ones: "O Tannenbaum" and "Leise rieselt der Schnee", with the former being the favourite when it came down to singing it, the latter better to listen to, with the best tune. Never liked "Stille Nacht" (Silent Night), because the vocal acrobatics in it undermine the communal experience...
