Ole Gunnar Solksjaer

As a Cardiff City fan, I'm glad he's gone. He should never have been appointed in the first place.
He wasn't cut out for the job from the start and was as surprised as anyone when he got the job, particularly with no managerial experience in England.
Sad to say another great player, and one from Man United, that will never cut it as a top manager.
I'm convinced that if The Bluebirds had stayed with Malky, they would still be in the EPL.
What do you think, Guys?

As an outsider and not knowing the full facts it's hard to comment but I think you'll never how good or bad a manager he is or was thanks to the Chairman you unfortunately have.

The moral is that if you fall out with Vincent Tan, he won't just sack you, he will try to destroy your life. Why would anyone want to work for a man like that? However much he pays, it's not worth it.

Personally I would have Malky back there, as he should never have been sacked in the first place. However, that won't happen because he won't kiss Tan's ass. Coming from the type of country and culture that he comes from, he's used to having his ass wiped and kissed. People who work for him are just glad to have employment, regardless what they have to do.
It's just another sad sign of what's happened to football in England - foreign owners who don't come from a footballing nation, so therefore know nothing about football, but interfere with what should be left solely to the manager.
No Malky, then Tony Pulis, but that won't happen either because he's another one who won't kiss ass. Don't want Russell Slade as he will be out of his depth at Cardiff. Struggling with Leyton Orient at the moment, so can't see him being a success with The Bluebirds.

Its' hard enough to find a top manager, but to find a top manager that will work for Tan is nigh on impossible.
Bellamy has said that he doesn't want to be considered & more or less said that the reason for that is that he would not work under the current owner.
Pulis is the fans choice by a country mile but it seems that Tan is not interested.
Trouble with Tan is he's a businessman who knows absolutely fuck all about football.
I agree with the comments about Malky, I think he would have kept the Bluebirds in the PL.

The foreigner talk never gets old does it?
And thanks for stating what you think of his culture. Your post was an eye-opener.

I agree with you that they should've stuck with Malky, but I cannot agree with your assessment of Solksjaer.
Ole signed something like 17 new players and unfortunately if you make a lot of changes then it's likely going to take time to get those players to gel on and off the pitch and to get to know your best team. Ok, a manager shouldn't make so many changes so quickly, but what you usually find in such situations is that the bulk of those signings weren't the managers choice. Whether those signings were or weren't Solksjaers decisions, the fact is that the owner sanctioned all those signings and if you are going to oversee that number of new additions then you have to accept that it will likely take time to get things right on the pitch and therefore need to give the manager some time. There is only one person ultimately responsible for Cardiff's current position and that is Mr Tan.

I think that you'll find that a large part of Cardiff and the valleys do give a shit. Around 25,000 fans to home games last season.
I actually think that you will find that a larger amount don't give a fuck what you think and would suggest if you have nothing constructive to say then you keep the fuck out !wink!
