This is an audio clip which covers a brave bloke's attempt to get his Internet service provider to disconnect his service. The amazing thing is that the clip starts 10 MINUTES INTO THE CONVERSATION. Incredible cool displayed by the guy trying to get his service disconnected. I would have told him to get fucked in 30 seconds.

Tried speaking to SKY recently? Their "customer service" staff have masters degrees in how to be a twat.

Lol. That was an American company.

British broadband and phone companies (providers) are similar though. When the end of my contract is up or they are putting the prices up i say to them i'm not happy and can they make me an offer. They say no it's a great service. So i ask for the MAC number and prevarication and nonsense from 'Customer Retention' asking why i want to leave.

All avoided if they just froze the price which they can afford to do. New customers always get a better deal. Why these companies don't offer loyal customers the new deal is bizarre. The last company i left made millions (Sky) but they still wanted to put the price up.

Well, at least you have something to fall back on if you're ever in a pickle.

Haha........sorry. Couldn't resist that one.

Ryan Block and Veronica Belmont are tech journalists. Bad as this is, they got a story and millions of 'clicks' out of it. Best thing that happened to them that day.

Of course, us normal folk have to suffer.
