We have free speech and free elections with secret ballots. Please vote as people died to give you the privelege.

No, we don't. We have limited free speech.
and free elections with secret ballots.
Up to a point ? it would be easy for the returning officer to find out you voted for if he so desired.

Who died? And if they did die to give me the privilege did they not also accord me the privilege not to vote as well?

I have voted in local and EU.
While I know the votes I have made will not be for any winners,
I can at least say "well I never voted for them.
And no it wasn't UKIP or BNP.
If you don't vote, you should not complain.

I voted.
"If you don't vote, you should not complain."
Many don't vote but do complain and they wonder why they get rubbish politicians with rubbish policies.

Yes it's the fault of all those who don't vote that we are in the mess we are in... Are you serious?

Indeed. Not voting is essentially the equivalent of ticking the "none of the above" box.

Fine MTM but never ever complain about tax, the NHS, the state of the roads etc.

Lol. Always serious (sometimes). The state of the economy is the bankers and politicians fault. My point is if the non voters voted we MAY get a different government. If you don't vote and sit on your arse all day complaining you're just a grumpy moaning minnie. You achieve nothing by doing nothing and just moaning all day.

Yes I voted. The list of parties for the MEP elections was as long as my arm.
I think I will setup my own political party cos every other bugger seems to be doing it.
I am more than happy to offer you lads a Cabinet post, just let me know what position you want in the future government.
I am planning to take on the "political establishment" and be a great supporter of "new politics". Don't ask me what the policies are. I will work on them when I am next down the pub.
