Facile comments really. Manager always gets the blame when the highly paid players just don't perform. Haven't seen the game yet and don't intend to atch MOTD or anything else about football for the rest of the weekend. The players should be ashamed and embarraseed that such a truly great milestone will be remembered for such a poor poor display on the field.

He signs the players, picks the team, wasted ?42m on Ozil, can't attract truly world class players, sold RVP to a rival team need I go on. Arsenal fans pay a serious amount of money to watch their team and should be entitled to some success......

Yes the ultimate responsibility is the manager's. Eleven trophies in first 499 matches and none in next 501 doesn't look good.

I don't think ?zil was a waste of money. It was his "aura" that pushed the team to the top of the league at the start of the season and none of the fans were complaining then.

However, there is obviously something amiss at London Colney though. We can't beat the big teams and a player is never injured for a game or two, it's always weeks and often months. Aaron Ramsey seems to spend more time on the treatment table than the pitch and now ?zil is out for Lord knows how long and Walcott won't play this side of the World Cup...

I was disappointed with the lack of class some of our players displayed after the game... not one of them gloated and posed for selfies on the pitch.


6-0 Oh how I laughed. The media like to perpetrate the myth that Arsenal play football the "right" way and that Chelsea play "anti-football" so to celebrate Arsene Wenger's 1000th game as Arsenal manager, what better present to give him than than a drubbing!!!

My only hope is that Arsenal win the FA Cup (fat chance with Wenger in charge) and then Wenger will retire.

Wenger is an exceptionally good manager considering the resources he didn't have at his disposal when the Emirates stadium was built/having to be paid for, but it now looks like the money spent on Ozil could be wasted.

Many years ago Dan Jenkins, one of America's greatest sports writers published a brilliant article on when top coaches and sportsmen should retire. Arsene is doing a great job of destroying his legacy whereas Fergie did it right by winning a title and then going on his own terms.

From what I have heard, not sure Ferguson went on his own terms but anyway why wallow in United's misery when Flamini provided enough of our own?
