No knighthoods for Mr Beckham and Mr Murray.... the rumors going around is that they both failed the "tax" test.... read into that what you may!

That David Beckham eh, what a bastard. Apparently giving ?3.5 million to a children's charity. Wouldn't get anyone on BGAFD doing that, thank God.

Wonder how much of that cash ends up indirectly back in his pocket? Also if those little kiddies were so dear to lord beckham does he think they might need things like hospitals, schools and even street cleaners which taxes pay for along with the workers needed to do these jobs which maybe their mummies and daddies.
Love the article with the I'd rather get fifty percent of taxes than none..problem is that these scumbags won't pay no matter what rate you have it at because they are richer enough to make sure they don't and have no social conscious apart from self serving charities.

"Wonder how much of that cash ends up indirectly back in his pocket?"
Given that it was almost his entire salary whilst at Paris St. Germain, I suspect not much. He was only there for 5 months and his family was not domiciled in France.
"Also if those little kiddies were so dear to lord beckham does he think they might need things like hospitals, schools and even street cleaners which taxes pay for along with the workers needed to do these jobs which maybe their mummies and daddies."
Given that he was paid ?170K a week and ended up taking ?2K a week, do you not think this is a sizeable contribution from his 5 months in France?

Ah yes, you have obviously spotted that David Beckham has not got enough money already so apart from giving away almost his entire salary to charity in France in order to make money, he also works with all these self serving charities such as Help for Heroes, Princes Trust, NSPCC, Red Cross, Unicef etc. etc. He must be coining it in from the Red Cross and NSPCC. And so must those charities.
I am completely against tax avoidance and tax evasion but this specific story does not strike me as a particularly good example

Of course keeping that high media profile from selfless good works always helps your career unlike quietly paying taxes.

So you think in the case of Beckham, his media profile would not have remained high if it had not been for the charities that he has supported for a lot of years, in some cases way back to his Man Utd days? So much for being a player in a treble winning team, England captain, Real Madrid player, fashion icon etc. etc. If it hadn't been for the charitable work, he would have been almost totally anonymous.

He has been anonymous as a "footballer" for years choosing to take easy money playing "Soccer" in Los Angeles. He is a media hound and self publicist the likes of which Britain has never seen before and hopefully won't see again in the future. Yes he has made a lot of a modicum of talent but in reality his fans are women and gay men who want to shag him. They couldn't care less if he plays football they want to see him in a tight pair of underpants. Bobby Charlton, Jackie Stewart, Henry Cotton, Geoff Boycott and other deserving sporting Knights have one thing in common ...greatness whereas Beckham has stylists and marketing men.

I will leave you to stew in your bizarre hatred of Beckham, anything to do with Liverpool FC club and its fans, anyone who does not share your extreme right wing political views and indeed, your homophobia.
I do suspect though your homophobia suppresses some unresolved urges.

Geoff Boycott doesn't have a knighthood.
