Everyone's favourite social networking site Twitter was floated on the stock exchange today. It's odd because it has apparently never made a profit, but according to the news today it is worth billions. It's a funny world.

Until Microsoft or Apple or some such buy it for billions and the owners are skipping and dancing like Fred Astaire in "Singing In The Rain"

As I have always said Twitter is for Twats.

People have disagreed with me on this forum before about my views on Twitter, but I will state them again: it is basically a poor-man's Facebook and it is very frustrating that you have such little room to type. How it took off and became as big as it did is the eighth wonder of the world to me.
