how come lately when i log on instead of a thread being shown and you have to click to see all comments,now every comment is shown in a long list is it me or is it the way it is now on here??

Yes, just the same with me.
Both of the other Forum's are fine, with me it only happens on the O/T Forum.

Try clicking threaded view at the bottom of the message page..
