I found it very odd that it was reported that the boat 'interacted' with people in the water. Injuries were described as 'life threatening and life changing', all consistent with propeller trauma.
Was the term 'interaction' used out of sensitivity and deference to the perceived status of the people involved ?

Chopped up into dog food style chunks has a better ring to it..but this stinks of a double standard considering usually when someone dies its either the funeral director or sky news at the door first with the constant 30 minute updates, latest news is the ir still dead!

I dont think it matters why it made the news. its the fact it has. its extraordinary than a regular car accident. If a family was wiped out in a horrific accident Im sure that would make the news too

The story was in the media before it was revealed that the dead man was a Sky executive. And if a child dies in tragic circumstances, it nearly always gets media coverage.

Well, if by crap you mean they report on news stories then yes I suppose they are...
