What goes around comes around. Warrington anyone?
Now as per US modus operandi the US will blame foreigners and use this incident as a way to start a shooting match. Watch out Tonga.

I don't remember the people of Warrington giving money to the IRA. So why were they targeted?

Bloody terrorists. Terrorists don't need a reason to bomb except to promote their cause by killing innocent people.

It was 20 years ago today...

I would not be surprised, as it is almost 20 years to the day (19th April), since the bloody end to the Waco siege, and 18 years since the Oklahoma bombing which was in itself a twisted revenge for the former, if this outrage isn't found to be the work of the neo-nazi, ultra right fringe that pollutes American politics these days. There are groups, not too far to right of the Tea Baggers, sorry, make that Tea Partyers, that refuse to accept any law passed federally or by states and are in almost open revolt against what they see as the capture of America by 'Libruls' lead by the 'foreigner' in the White House.

Only last week' to forestall a court case, neo-nazis assassinated a state prosecuter and his wife, just one of many acts against authority figures in recent years that can be attributed in all likelihood to armed groups in almost revolutionary revolt. I hope the federal government pursues domestic (white nazi) terrorists with as much vigour as other types. Sadly, the shortsighted work of state level GOP lawmakers has often made the collation and distribution of info by the police/FBI etc on the home grown threat, difficult to do as they think it reflects badly on their own support base.

And by all accounts the mighty Department of Homeland Security (motto "be afraid, be afraid, be afraid etc) has been caught asleep on this one...
