Hi chaps and chapesses

Can anyone recommend some pleasant distractions whilst staying in Brum? Interests include watching ladies take their clothes off/getting into mischief, shopping from independent / unique retailers, history and sightseeing. Probably in that order.

Thanks!

Totally agree, after going there once.

After that, only ever went to the place because of concerts at the NEC.

There are two Legs 11 bars - 193-194 Broad Street & 30 Ladywell Walk
also Spearmint Rhino, 64 Hagley Road

I've never been to them though so can't comment.

I don't know if any of the adult cinemas still exist either.
There was one near New Street Station and another linked to an adult shop down Hurst Street ( past Hippodrome Theatre )

Shopping - all the main stores are in the city centre New Street, Corporation Street, High Street area plus the Bull Ring.
As to individual / specialist shops it depends what you are looking for, perhaps run a search before you go?

History - the old Science Museum closed many years ago and 'replaced' by the ThinkTank. I've never been but at least somewhere indoors to go.
Sealife Centre too if that is your thing.

The delights of Birmingham are no longer known to me, but l do recall driving business visitors around Sparkbrook and Balsall Heath at night.

In Balsall Heath there was Cheddar Road which was closest the UK ever came to matching Amsterdam, a drive around the area would show dozens of street girls, however the girls in Cheddar Rd sat in their brightly lit downstairs front room windows with very little on for all to see, the cops didnt seem to bother them much, they just went after the kerbies.

I remember one night taking a car full of guys down Cheddar Rd on a sight seeing trip only to find the other end was blocked off, when l started to turn the car around out came the cops. They wanted us to all get out and give our names and addresses, my passangers said no and I told the cops that l had just taken a wrong turn. They were not happy but we were just sight seeing not kerbcrawling.

All this was closed down around 15 years ago, not by the cops but by local shop owners and people living in the area.
