Except she could get her arse sued to the point of oblivion as feature films are contracted up the wazoo for insurance puposes.
This could be the end of her career in not showing up.
Not to be horrible but she may be better off being dead as her career is as good as done UNLESS she has a good excuse other than " my granny died/ Im at a funeral/ my cat died" excuses aint gonna cut it
At least if she is dead then people can understand. It sounds heartless but thats how unrelenting film companies will be. i can see a suit in an office screaming about it in my minds eyes saying a lot more unpleasant things than me.
I think Ive heard worse from producers about model no shows !laugh!

This reminds me of when i was 15 and I drew up 315 storyboards for a film that we spent a week in Devon trying to make from those storyboards because the director, who appointed himself for egocentric reasons quit the first day we was on location when he suddenly realised he was ill prepared for the task
We still had a lot of fun though making a 16mm film that turned out shit

Remember what happened to Kim Basinger when she did that to David Lynches daughter by no showing on Boxing Helena (Sherilyn Fenn was hotter anyway)
Basinger got her arse so sued she was bankrupt. especially buying some hick town that no one can remember what was called that ended up breaking her financially. What a blonde!

Never had the director do a no-show, but I do recall a gaffer not turning up on a couple of occasions. To be fair, one of those occasions was down to him really pissing off some of the locals in the pub the night before and getting what he thought was a death threat if he didn't fuck off back to London. And I once had a focus-puller who so hungover he failed to get to the location.

You could technically sue models who dont show if the cost to you was a substantial amount but you would have to get them to agree to it before hand in writing to confirm as proof before you took such action
And vice versa if you fail to see it through she can sue the producer too
