Similarly with politics, you come across like an adolescent girl with limited understanding of who or what you are. So for example, initially you thought Cameron and Osborne were the answer and were great supporters of them. When Cameron and Osborne made a complete hash of government you then started talking about "blond bombshell with a fantastic voice and a great live performer" Boris Johnson as being a much better leader than Cameron.

This lasted for a few months due presumably to Boris's great stage performances around the Olympics. Your latest squeeze appears to be Nigel Farage. A politician who has complete contempt for people like you, a pen pusher in a public sector type Housing Association job on a final salary pension.

No-one is saying that there was no deficit in some years of the Labour government. What is the case was that deficit was no higher than many years of the Tory government prior to the global recession hit.

Labour made a pig's ear of regulating the British banks and have already admitted their failings. THey weren't however responsible for the banking crashes in America, much of Euroland, Iceland etc etc. The Tories would have had less rather than more regulation and Cameron frequently criticised the Labour government for too much banking regulation.

Again this is typical, adolescent girl type talk. My view has always been that Labour is the best of a bad bunch, but I have no great expectations about how a Labour government would change things, only that they would make a better job of it than the Tories.
