'Piranha' the movie...

I saw this on TV the other night. It is absolutely hilarious, one of those b-movies that is so bad it's good. Kelly Brook is one of the stars and you get to see all of her, so that was nice.

Basic plot: a loads of teens and students are partying at the lake. An old guy fishing accidentally drops a bottle of beer over the side of his boat which sinks to the bottom and hits something, which has an effect similar to taking the plug out of a bath. A huge whirlpool occurs, he disappears down the vortex along with his boat, and an underwater chamber where lots of piranha from a breed everyone thought was extinct now have a free path to swim up to the lake and start eating the partying swimmers!

It sounds crap - and it is - but it's bloody funny! Think 'Shark Attack 3' or 'Jaws 4' for badness! Kelly Brook and another bimbo do lots of naked swimming and we have an underwater camera to capture Kelly in all her naked glory. Doc Brown from 'Back To The Future' is in it too.

One thing I found curious was that Elisabeth Shue stars in the film, she previously co-starred with Tom Cruise in 'Cocktail' and in 'Leaving Las Vegas' with Nicholas Cage, among other big films. She is now starring in b-movies like this. Her career seems to have taken a nose-dive in recent years.

Anyone else seen this film and what did you think? It is worth seeing if you want a giggle!

Saw it loved it for exactly the same reasons you did, so bad it is good.

It also starred American pornstar Riley Steele with Kelly Brooke, now that is a sandwich I would like to be the filling in.

If you fancy a bit of Riley Steele who was the other girl in the mvie you can see her here on my blog video

You can see me fuck up on the longer video in the members area where I keep referring to Kelly brook as Jordan :-)

Good old Keiran Lee corrected me though

Kelly Brook used a body double. Sorry to disappoint.

Ans Elisabeth Shue was in CSI so her career hasn't really hit rock bottom. Perhaps she fancied a bit of light hearted relief to pay the bills.

My mate bought it me on 3D and it was so bad I couldn't finish watching it. Nearly as bad as two headed shark attack.

I might look up some pics of the other girl seen naked swimming in the film.

Shame to hear Kelly Brook used a body double, if that was the case, there are lots of nice bikini shots of her that really is her though in the film. She has a top bod!

Have a watch of this short clip from the awful 'Shark Attack 3: Megalodon'. This is certainly a 'so bad its good' movie and I can't wait to see the whole thing! lol.

Basic plot of Piranha was a bit fishy and the film did bite off more than it could chew. Kelly brook did look good though.

I prefer the 70's version. It's smarter and funnier and not in 3D. It still has boobs too.

I can't bring myself to watch 'Piranha 3DD' yet. I haven't heard anything good about it, not even the Hoff spoofing himself.

That's not a euphemism. At least, I don't think it is...?

Enjoyed em both Steve...Piranha 3DD the sequel is made on a much smaller
budget or seems that way though it has a few good effects and a very
bloody climax which is not meant to be taken seriously. I suspect you might
enjoy it. "Hoff" spoofs himself rather well........

I suppose I could give it a go on a quiet Sunday afternoon.

Maybe I'll pop down to HMV and see if it's in the bargain bin yet?

Oh wait...
