Enjoyable match today, we beat them 12-6, and there are some interesting statistics from today's match:

our first win in Dublin for 10 years
the first England v Ireland rugby match without a try being scored since 1984 (29 years)
the lowest scoring 6 Nations match ever.

I enjoyed the game. Did anyone else watch it, and what did you think?

Marvellous. A very physical game, well managed by the ref. Our lovely Irish receptionist will be avoiding me in the morning!

Yep we should be odds on for triple crown now but a wounded French team and maybe a surprise from the Welsh would upset that. I've played rugby in conditions like that and my it's tough. Well done boys !

I doubt a 'wounded French team' would have a bearing on the triple crown result, grand slam maybe. !wink!

However, I do reckon the England Wales game, will be as close as the Ireland England game was today. Maybe even some tries though, conditions allowing.

Definitely been the most entertaining six nations of recent years, thus far. Thanks, in particular, to the Italy France game. Who'd have thunk it.

Great two weekends of rugby so far, thought we were lucky to beat the French in a tight match. Well done England to hold off the Irish, tough match in bad conditions.
