Can't believe Peter 'Heffner-lite' Stringfellow will be a father again at the age of 72!
The year 2020 should be something for him to look forward to, his 80th, his/her 7th!

"My last child was born 48 years ago, so I'm up for the challenge. I know it's going to be tough, so of course we'll have nannies - a night nanny, and a day nanny and a holiday nanny and an aeroplane nanny. I'm ready for the hardship".

He's rich, so the kid will probably never want for much but I do feel pity for him/her. They probably won't be together too long.

Surely it's the quality of the time that he will spend with the child rather than the quantity that's important? I have a friend whose dad died when she was 8 and a girl I went to junior school with saw her father die when she was 9 and he left three other children all younger. Neither father was old. As you say the child will want for nothing and Mr Stringfellow can spend every waking moment (his and the baby's) rather than having to worry about going to work and never seeing the child. Good luck to them both.
