Loved the African guy who has kept popping over from Ireland to get asylum.

Thing is I don't understand is why don't the TV crews bring the police into their investigations so once they have done their pointless challenging of the criminal who then says not me you're mistaken and then leaves, police could appear and arrest them.

Everyone would be a winner with feel good TV and a potential arrest without straining police resources.

It's all a waste of time because the process is....


1. An arrest is made.

2. They are released and ordered to report to a Police Station* on a daily / weekly basis.

3. They disappear.

4. The process starts all over again.

* Assumes he/she can find a Police Station that's open for business.
