Glamour models are all spoilt...

I've travelled a lot, I've also lived abroad, but some people who have lived a life without much opportunity have not. I wonder what they would think when hearing models complain about flight delays, about how hard-done-by they are because they've had to wait in an airport lounge. The following things I have copied-and-pasted from Twitter, they have all been posted in the last couple of hours. These three glamour girls have been in Las Vegas enjoying the sunshine...
Here is Rosie Jones, page 3 girl and Lads Mag favourite:
Rosie Jones @rosieofthejones
Sat in Manchester airport for 2 & a half hours just to get back on the exact same plane we'd been on to come to London. Get me home to bed
Here is Sam Cooke, another page 3 girl and Lads Mag favourite:
sam cooke @samcooketog
Back in the uk and I'm ridiculously tired! Should stay awake to get bk into uk time but I'm sooooo tired under this heated blanket!!
Here is India Reynolds, yet another page 3 girl and Lads Mag favourite:
India Reynolds @missireynolds
Finally back on the plane!! London bound!!
--------------
How awful it must be for these girls, having to wait around for a plane! Rather spoilt, wouldn't people agree?

I dunno. Just reads like anything else on the Twitter. Don't seem to be actually complaining that loudly to be honest.
No #rage or #fucktheairports or anything like that. I don't see the anger. Guarantee if it was me on the twitters I would be swearing so very loudly.

Do you think this is just everyday commenting on how they feel? It is twitter, after all. I mean, when I complain the TV is shit I suppose I'm just as bad given there are many people in the world who may not have a TV and the choice of channels I have.
I don't think these 'in the moment' comments on how they are feeling should be taken so seriously as you are taking them. Anyway.....nice to see you're on still keeping up with things an that social network you think is utterly pointless just because you're limited to the amount of characters you're allowed in a tweet! !laugh!
You should remember little Afghan schoolgirls risking life and limb just so they can learn to read and write the next time you want to come on here complaining how you don't hear people speak much English round your way anymore.

Interesting comments. I think a lot of people, particularly in this freezing weather, wouldn't mind enduring the 'hassle' of waiting for a plane if it meant a couple of weeks in the sun. Certainly isn't something people should whine about on Twitter.
Here is Rosie Jones today, having returned from her trip to Las Vegas:
Rosie Jones @rosieofthejones
Treating myself to a full body massage ooo arrr
...it's needed with the amount I've abused my body this past week!
I must say there are many men who wouldn't mind being Rosie's masseure, read this from Wikipedia:
"Jones was voted the No.1 Sexiest Babe of 2010 by visitors to Nuts' website, with over 1 million votes, and again in 2011."
Wow! Rosie isn't short of male admirers.
On the issue of how I have slammed Twitter numerous times on this forum for being a poor imitation of Facebook and how it is largely pointless, in terms of conveying messages, because of the limited amount of space you have to type, I stand by what I've always said. I look on it mainly to see photos of girls I like (Rosie is certainly one, although a bit spoilt as I said). Many of the photos you see are non-professional 'polaroid' girl-next-door kinds of photos, rather than the professional pics that appear on Google Images, so it is nice to see 'ordinary' pictures. I remain of the view that Twitter would be much better and more useful if you could do more than type just two sentences.

Twitter was always about what you are doing now. If people want to write novels they can link to it. I dont see the problem. Twitter forces you to keep it short and sweet
Who wants to read loads and loads of text?
Ahem....Dont answer that?
On the subject of Rosie Jones, would you like to be her boyfriend on a Friday night at the local boozer?

Hmmmm ok on one hand Rosie Jones complaining about delays in her flight etc and on the other hand Pornstars with amazon wishlists wanting dickheads to buy them five grand handbags or shoes.

Yes......largely pointless unless you want to use it to hunt down 'girl next door shots' of glamour models who frequent Nuts magazine.
And you're still in the mindset of comparing Twitter to Facebook when they are used entirely differently. Like I told you before: calling Twitter a 'poor imitation of Facebook' is like calling a car a 'poor imitation of a truck'.
And you're complaint about others tweeting about trivial things that irk them smacks of a complete lack of self-awareness. You must realise that your very post, complaining about these things, is just as trivial as any of this lady's tweets.
What's more pointless......complaining about your sore back or complaining about somebody else complaining about their sore back?
Will, Max realise what a hypocrite he's being? Tune in tomorrow to find out!
