So from today onwards the nights start drawing out, we are effectively heading to summer, even though it is still December. It can give you a boost to remind yourself that each day from now on the sun sets slightly later. If anyone is having the winter blues and wants to be reminded of the great summer we had, of the Olympics and Team GB, have a watch of this. Our athletes did us proud!

"In their defence a spokesperson from the Guardian Media Group announced that the GMG and its offshore joint venture, Top Right Group, have not paid any less corporation tax in the UK due to the group?s arrangement with Luxembourg than they would have if Top Right Group was run in the UK instead of offshore".
Time will tell. Sounds dodgy though. If you were going to pay the same corporation tax offshore as you would in the UK, why bother, unless there are advantages in other tax areas.

I found it funny how the world was going to end yesterday (I think). These loons who predict these things are, evidently, never correct - but I'm amazed how the things they say get so much media attention.
