Does anyone here know anything about Joomla web sites/templates?
A friend of mine asked someone to do her a web site. 5 months on and it's still not live, so I've offered to help. Unfortunately it was "designed" using a Joomla template and in spite of signing up to Joomla's 30 day free trial and downloading Joomla 2.5 I can't make head or tail of anything.
If anyone can guide me using layman's terms I would be very grateful.
The only alternative is she buys an HTML template that I've seen which is almost identical to what she wanted in the first place, which is something I CAN edit and publish!!! But given she's already spent ?1500 on this non-existent site I don't really want to get her to spend another ?250 on a new template if I can avoid it
