I'm sure we did a deal.

We let them have Abu Hamza and his mates last week and they have said we can keep Gary McKinnon as our reward.

What I can't understand is why haven't we given this guy a job at GCHQ?

Just been listening to Radio 4 and some yank saying how terrible it is that we haven't sent McKinnon to the US for trial.

Tuf shit you Yankie bastard, makes a change for us to stand-up to the Yanks.

Yes, I heard that guy too, a real twat. According to him, the USA is only too happy to send its citizens abroad to any country who asks for them. In a pig's arse, friend.

Good news

Good news that McKinnon is not being sent to the USA.

The treaty brought in under a Labour government by Blunkett is a poor act which is too one-sided. It needs amending or dumping.

I don't think it is an accident of timing that May made the announcement a couple of weeks after a bunch of people were sent off to the US two weeks ago.

One of them, Babar Ahmad was a UK citizen who could have been tried in the UK but instead was kept in jail for 8 years without trial. If he had been tried in the UK shortly after arrest he would probably have completed his sentence by now.

Still listening to the Radio.

Some Yank still going on that the US Justice Department are going to be "livid" about this, they are not going to be happy about this at all!

Tuf shit, get over it.

About time we told the yanks where to get off.

Excellent news. Thank chuff VP Blair is out of number 10 or this guy would have been water boarded to death by now in some NSA facility in the middle of the Pacific. Now can we please rip up this vile treaty and start showing some mettle again?

Some good news today - what harm did he actually do? Wasn't he just looking for proof of aliens, or something? Happy for him and his family.

Whether he found something or not I am sure the yanks are gutted he wasn't called Asif and from Bradford. Respectable white guys don't fit their stereotype bogeyman these days. Can't imagine it's much fun being a Muslim or any Arabic race and living in "the land of the free" these days..especially Texas!
