It shows how popular they are, this has had nearly 1.2 million hits on YouTube in less than 72 hours. Seems like the forthcoming tour, there is bound to be one, will be huge.

Well I think the Stones new single is a great track. Here in Johnson Towers we were spilling our cups of cocoa as we made shapes around the living room floor!

I don't get this thing about retiring. The Stones started off their band lives immersed in American music, particularly the blues. A lot of their numbers were blues influenced. No-one said to the likes of BB King, John Lee Hooker etc you should retire now.

The Stones are still massively popular. THey clearly dont need the dosh. They do it because they want to. Good Luck to them!

I wonder whether Charlie Watts really wants to do it again, he gives the impression of not being as into it as the others but I think does it because without him there would be no band so him leaving would be him saying the other three are leaving too and I don't think he feels he could do that to them. Many musicians carry on until they are very old but the Stones don't act like old men, they almost try to come across as young rock stars and that is when it becomes ridiculous - tight black denim's, leather jackets, hair colour out of a bottle, etc.

You,re welcome DJ.To be honest I kind of like living in a world where near 70-something men are still strapping on an electric guitar and turning the amps up to 11. I get the impression that Mick ,Keef, Charlie and Ronnie are still doing it because frankly they probably don't know how to do anything else.
You'll miss them when thy,re gone and I just hope I get to see them live soon.
