To introduce myself

Hi all,
My name is Des Chronaki and I am into porn studies at Loughborough University here in the UK. Porn studies is a strand within cultural studies. This introduction might look as if another journalist weirdo is trying to enter a forum of actors of the industry to conduct a survey/experiment or just a tv programme or something. I just want to introduce myself as someone who's personally and academically interested in how people in and out of the sex industry relate to the cultural product called porn. I have been working for quite some time on different things such as collaborating with people in the industry in order to unpack how porn and the industry are socially constructed.
I have so far collaborated with people here in the UK and in Greece, both producers and actors, and I would be very grateful if I would just manage to join this forum.
I know it sounds a bot weird but as its a kind of academic activity that only a handful does from this perspective, I am at your disposal for any question, any fruitful discussion
p.s. btw here is a link to my work if you 'd like to know more about me http://www.lboro.ac.uk/departments/ss/s ... onaki.html
Cheers,
Des !happy!
