This is driving me mad, and if anyone can help I will be eternally grateful.

I use Google Chrome as a browser, and I always like to have multiple tabs open as I spend a lot of time flicking from website to backend to google to bgafd etc all of a sudden every time I click on a tab it opens as a new window, rather than just opening the website from the tab, so I end up with one window with 9 tabs (9 websites open) on it, and then 1 window open on its own with 1 website open on it, I then have to drag that website back in with the others so I have them altogether. To make matter worse it does not do it everytime I click on a tab, just does it randomly to piss me off.

It has never done this before, just started this week, and I am starting to go mad.

I hope my explanation is clear enough, if not please say so and I will try and describe the problem again.

Assuming you have checked none of the settings / preferences have got changed have you tried to uninstall, reboot and reinstall?

For the reinstall try downloading the full version for computers with multiple users rather than the installer that has to download before installing.
