Posh boys get booed

I don't know which spad's bright idea it was to get George Osborne to hand out the medals at one of the Paralympics ceremonies.

A bit like getting a convicted child murderer to hand out the prizes at a schools sports day.

Apparently even just the sight of Cameron produced a round of booing. Hardly surprising given his own party are taking it in turns to call him a twat.

Mind, Gordon Brown got a huge cheer. !wink!

You really don't like Tories do you? If only we had Desmond Tutu over here. At least he realises Nu Labor were a bunch of murdering, money grabbing war mongers.

Sadly it all comes back to the Tories "checking" people claiming disability benefit.

I suppose if the great British public are happy to pay out for a percentage of people who are not disabled but having the money........

Difficult to decide, i expect once labour's back in 2015 it will be scrapped and its then a free for all to get the dosh!!

The UK is almost unique in not having yearly checks on some people claiming a benefit of this kind...

No. He realises Blair was a warmonger. Fully supported by your beloved Tories including Hague who was urging Blair to take action in Iraq well before the dodgy dossier and so-called evidence of weapons of mass destruction.

Wrong.

What it comes back to is a system of "checking" people claiming disability in which 40% of the appeals from claimants who have had benefits stopped as a result of the "checking" are upheld.

In short, the system being used is totally unfit for purpose if 40% of the appeals are being upheld.

Can't we get back to sniggering at Osbourne being booed? He was very badly advised by someone to actually go there.

I look forward to some reference in 'The Thick of It' at some point.

I look forward to the new series of the Thick of It starting on Beeb 2 on Saturday to give a good steer on what is going to happen in reality to the coalition!!
