If you are into Edwardian bodice rippers then Parade's End on BBC2 on Fridays is for you.

Brilliantly lit and shot, with a great cast and a script from Tom Stoppard, this is excellent stuff.

Well done, Beeb.

Posh-boy takes yet another posh-boy role and then complains about being thought of as a posh-boy.

Gave it a miss. Another upper class twat drama aimed at Daily Mail readers.

"Gave it a miss. Another upper class twat drama aimed at Daily Mail readers".

Well I guess you would know. Wot with not watching it or anything.

Mind, for a lad like yourself from a working class family who aspired to be middle class or upper class, I would have thought you'd have enjoyed it for giving you a few ponters on how to "behave in polite society".

Bloody mutton dressed as lamb, you are. Tory supporter, but you can't even sneer at the poor unemployed with any conviction.

!wink!

Thanks for that tip. I trust it will be on the Iplayer.

I'm going to watch Inspector George Gently and wallow in Geordie nostalgia.

DJ. Keep taking the tablets! Your bites are worse than a lion with piles! Tory values but nowhere near upper clarse.

Yeah, you are a working class kid with Tory values. Nothing, I repeat, nothing is more pathetic.

A bit like a madman hitting themselves repeatedly with a house brick.

Was George Gently the northern soul themed episode ?

Indeedy. Inspector Gently is typical BBC Sunday night entertainment - cosy, not particularly demanding, a bit like relaxing in a warm bath.

Watched the 10pm Beeb2 programme Murder, directed by the guy who worked in the Danish programme, the Killing. Different kettle of fish altogether.
