...after paint picked off
Andy Murray's gold postbox in Dunblane will have to be repainted after fans picked away much of the paint, it has emerged.
FFS - don't the Jocks understand that it's just paint and not going to earn them any money at cashmystolengold.,com?
!laugh!

Basically, people are stupid.
When I was at school one of the kids dads killed himself, trying to steal electricity by simply throwing a cable over the high voltage cables running to the pit at the bottom of his garden.
I remember seeing another guy on TV explaining that he topped up his brake fluid with Fairy Liquid, as basically, they were both green liquids he assumed they were interchangeable.

Ideally, Darwin should get these, but usually they've copulated and spread their genes several times before he has a look-in. Natural selection is so damn slow these days....

We interfere with natural selection these days, thus enabling the thick, lazy genes to be passed on.

Apparently they were taking flakes of paint as a memento.
"Basically, people are stupid."
Can we assume you exempt yourself from this statement?

Taking flakes of paint as a memento...brilliant.
Must remember that 'memento' excuse the next time I'm up in front of the beak, if I get caught shoplifting a replica Team GB tracksuit. Or when I get caught nicking Chris Hoy's bike.
Some fecker took a really long, thin 'memento' from down the side of my last car, when it was parked in Manchester.

"Must remember that 'memento' excuse the next time I'm up in front of the beak".
Well there are plenty that push and shove in the Wimbledon crowd to get Andy Murray's sweaty wristbands. Fandom knows no limits.
PS I have a desiccated Andy Murray turd which I am just about to put on ebay if anyone is interested.
So what do you imagine happened? :
1. Someone, not the sharpest knife in the cupboard who had never had a trip to a diy store in their life, decided that this was a once in a lifetime money-making opportunity and scraped off the paint.
2. Took it home to melt down to cover their tracks. "Excuse me sir, that looks rather like the paint missing from ANdy Murray's gold letterbox."
3 Tried to sell the residue to a gold merchant in the High Street.
If so, given that as far as I am aware this has happened nowhere else than Dunblane, can we assume retards only inhabit Scotland? I suppose it could have been someone on a day trip from a care home in England.

Nah, that was just a nasty fucker. THat happens to me and my car isn't gold. Your car isn't gold is it? You haven't even won a gold medal, how dare you?

As well as Andy Murray's box,
Kat Copeland's gold box, oo-er, was vandalised in Teeside.
Jessica Ennis' gold box was graffitied in Sheffield.
Sounds like it's a new sport in itself. Find your local Olympic hero's gilded postbox and fuck it up in some way.
Scraping off the gold paint, scratching initials into the gold paint, spray painting over the gold paint....what's going to be next to up the ante?

Yes, I can see the attraction in vandalising Kat Copeland's box.
!wink!
