What's going on with these banks???

Nationwide having problems today and now Nat West inform me of a systems glitch. Whatever that means? Are these banks being attacked by criminals?Or are they just incompetent? I just don't trust or believe anything they tell me. I hear twitter is down too?

Does anyone have any views?

I reckon the banks are being hacked and they are keeping it a secret!

It's possible, I guess outsourcing their IT to the cheapest bidder doesn't help matters when the problems occur. Perhaps they'll be experiencing the hold music of an Indian call centre as we speak!

Hacking a bank is impossible......

security is encrypton and pretty much nigh on impossible to screw but individual accounts can be if you are careless on the net....
