Looks like Cameron is trying to kick the parliamentary inquiry into banking into the long grass.

There were two awkward members of the committee that tried to give Bob Diamond a hard time in the recent Finance parliamentary committee, Labour MP, John Mann and Tory MP, Andrea Leadsom. They have both had their comeuppance and have been dropped from the parliamentary committee that is going to look into banking. Andrea Leadsom had committed two cardinal sins, not only had she tried to give Diamond a hard time, but she also had, more or less, stated that Osborne should apologise for talking out of his arse and stating that Balls had been involved in Libor fixing, without a shred of evidence.

Just as with the phone hacking inquiry, Ed Miliband has demanded a judicial inquiry covering a whole range of issues with regard to UK banking on the grounds that the judicial inquiry would be far, far more effective than a bunch of useless MPs not being able to lay a glove on anybody. Miliband has stated that the Serious Fraud Office case can go on in parallel so there would be no delays.

And just as Cameron had to be dragged kicking and screaming into having a judicial inquiry over phone hacking, mainly beause of his connections with Coulson I would guess and Hunt being in the pocket of James Murdoch allegedly. it looks as if it is going to be the same here.

Surely far better to have a proper judicial inquiry with legal types asking the questions as opposed to kicking it into the long grass? Let's face it if Cameron believes that Labour have a case to answer, what has he got to lose? Far better to get some legal types on the case.

Maybe, the support of the finance sector and hedge funds which overwhelmingly fund the Tory party?

Is there anything this government could do better than Labour? Of course not, because you are like a nutty advisor to North Korea's Kim Jong Un, who if he demanded that the whole population should fart at 9.00AM in honour of himself, you would hysterically applaud and declare, "Your brilliance if legion, your wonderfullness!"

If Ed Milliband had suggested an enquiry into banking led by "Pepper Pig" with Shaun the Sheep and his pals considering the verdict, you'd applaud hysterically.

The simple fact is Labour want a judicial enquiry because it will take years to reach a verdict of no consequence at all and all the little New Labour piggies who had their snouts in the Bankers trough will get away with it.

The Tories smell the stench of New Labour corruption, after all they were the most corrupt government in history. That is why the Fraud Squad is involved, better than any enquiry, because they will just drag people off for questionning.

What possible motive have the Tories got for "Whitewashing" a bank enquiry that could result in claiming some New labour scalps? The only people who want this enquiry to fail dismally are Labour!

First of all, why a judicial inquiry instead of a parliamentary inquiry?

My little cupcake, here are a couple of answers explained simply just for you:

1. Sometimes politicians make accusations that they don't believe in order to deflect attention from their own failings. I am very sorry to disillusion you. It is true of all parties. Maybe, Osborne doesn't believe what he says, cupcake. He hasn't come up with any evidence has he?

2. As you rightly argue in the links above, legal types are much more likely to put politicians and banker types under pressure than Average Joe MPs. Given Labour want a judicial inquiry which is far ranging not just the Libor fixing which the SFO are currently running with, do you think a party that is overwhelmingly funded by the financial sector might be wary of what a judicial review might throw out? Think about it, cupcake!

3. Even if there are some skeletons in the Labour cupboard, much more likely that judicial types will find them.

Answer in your own time or given you are hopeless at answering questions, toddle off to the play pool. Behave yourself and when you get back I will read you a story about how the CIA brought down the Twin Towers with exploding bananas!

You really are no more than a "Talking book" for Labour aren't you? So the whole basis of your argument is basically, "Cos t'Tories are rich folk, they'll look after their own!"

I'll tell you why you support a judicial enquiry. Because Ed Milliband, pulled the little strings inside you that operate your jaw and made you say , "I SUPPORT A JUDICIAL ENQUIRY!" There used to be a cartoon in The Dandy* I think, called the "Numskulls" and it was about a bloke who had all these little men living in his head, who used to operate his everyday functions, with levers, switches and pullies. They used to post suggestions and ideas on bits of paper into a slot marked, "Brain". You are that man and those operating you are little gremlins of New Labour! Lol

The truth is those on Labours front bench were Treasury advisors at the time of the Libor fixing and were in full knowledge of what was going on. A judicial enquiry would give them years to, "think up an excuse!" that's it. They are kacking their pants! In Saturdays Independant there is a big article stating Libor fixing was common knowledge in 2008.

The day you have an opinion that you have formulated all by yourself, that hasn't been OK'd by Labour, is the day I will hang up bunting! I can imagine you frantically going through the Labour manifesto so see if there is guidance on what breakfast cereal you should have.

Perhaps you can get yourself a job as a door stop at Labour HQ?

Of course it would take Labour years to think up an excuse. Having only a month or two to think up an excuse before being interviewed by a parliamentary committee composed of light weight MPs wouldnt be enough time.
