Ed Milliband bank reform.

Ed Milliband is promising a "Root and branch" review of the banking system. In fact he promises to tear the banking system apart if and when Labour get back into power. Personally I think it is very easy when in opposition to make radical promises like this, a bit like the Tories promising to dismantle New Labour's police state. However, unlike some on here, I will always give credit where its due and if Labour wants to fuck things up for the banks then I say, "Go get the bastards, that's what Labour is SUPPOSED to do!"
However, what I found very interesting indeed during Ed Millibands broadcast this morning on News 24, was that he allowed himself to be filmed in front of, nay, nestled amongst, two giant Union flags! Now forgive me for asking, but wasn't the posing in front of, or in fact any association with the Union flag banned or certainly scorned under the last lot of New Labour PC nutballs? Wouldn't "Offenders" been branded "Racist?"
Didn't anyone notice that the only people who displayed the Union flag when New Labour were in charge, were the BNP? Now you see them outside many peoples houses and the first thing that doesn't come to mind is, "Racist!"
Maybe Labour and the Country is purging itseelf of it's old New Labour PC nutters, or are they just lying quietly in waiting, ready to pounce, if and when Labour regain power. I like to think maybe those days are now gone and the PC Nuttaz are a thing of the past and the modern Labour party would be as happily rid of them as would many on here!
Maybe, the "Guardian of New Labour", DJ is like one of those Japanese soldiers at the end of WW2, who were marooned on islands on the South seas. Noone had told them the war was over and they stood guard, crazily defending the Emperor till the last man was left standing, who would then commit Harakiri? Somone needs to tell DJ, "New Labour have gone now, mate, come and sit down and I'll explain everything that's happened over a cup of tea!"
Go on Ed, go the full hog and get a suit made up out of a Union Jack!
