After all the posts about the loathsome Rochdale paedophiles who were thankfully sent down, I am surprised forumites haven't picked up on this story in the press last week. Not a single comment!

The main points seem to be:

1. Raids involving 45 UK police forces leading to 100 arrests, with 24 children found whom investigators fear were at risk of abuse.

2. Almost 100 case studies from 34 forces found that offenders who both possessed child abuse images and attacked children were "almost exclusively white males", most aged between 19 and 45, with half living with children.

Personally I don't have a view, but in the light of the above statements 1 and 2, do forumites believe:

1. Possessing child abuse images and attacking children is a "white" problem?

2. Is it a religious or maybe an atheist problem? After all there have been a number of cases of paedophilia with regard to Catholic priests which have been hushed up?

3. Is it a white, Anglo Saxon cultural thing in terms of a breakdown in family values in which vulnerable children are regarded as "scum", "fresh meat" and "worthless?

I am particularly interested in the views of those forumites who contributed to the discussion on the Rochdale paedophilia case.

I will explain again, the Rochdale Pakistani paeodos and similar groups are unique, because the police forces in these areas ALLOWED them to run amok and abuse children, for no other reason than the fear of being branded "Racist" if they arrested and charged them.

You can quote a hundred cases of white paedophiles, it is is irrelevant and it does in no way remedy or alleviate the above scandal, that was allowed to continue, in fact thrive under New Labour.

I totally get where David is coming from and it is so blatantly obvious why it wasnt mentioned.

Its easier to notice if its a bunch of asians which really highlighted th eproblem of lack of parental control for it to happen in the first place. Sleaze bags are everywhere and its not indigenous to colour or nationality or even what sex you are either.

Greater Manchester police first heard about the grooming when one of the teenage girls made a complaint four years ago. Detectives took her case seriously and offered her support and put together evidence and submitted it to the CPS. Two men were ARRESTED (Note the word, arrested Jim). But controversially, the Crown Prosecution Service took the decision in 2009 not to charge two of the men convicted earlier this week. The reason the CPS gave at the time was that the witness was not credible. This decision was overturned later.

So in summary, two of the men were arrested, but CPS did not play ball. Can't you ever get anything right, Jim?

So what? white murderers exist too, but when several British Pakistanis decided to set off suicide bombs in the London Tube, they were doing something qualitatively different. It was a racist rejection of our society in the most violent way. To a lesser degree, the northern Pakistani rape gangs are part of the same continuum. They set out deliberately to rape young white girls because they are white. Like the suicide bombers, they live in Britain but despise British culture and society.
