Johnny Cooper Clark is the only poet I know anything about. I've never had much of an education and my family had just been working people with a simple out look on life. But when people like John Cooper Clark spoke to me through their work in late 70's and early 80's a long with a bunch of other performers it really had effect on my life, I formed a band and made post punk music about things in my life, everything from the mundane like the "INTER CITY SPECIAL TRAIN" to THATCHER's BRITAIN and we even did a song about that bloke who broke in the queens bedroom!
I thank these people for doing what they do/did, I'll be watching this as I think this guy is up there with all the greats, thanks for letting us know this is on,
Regards.

You are very welcome.
For your info, a new series called Punk Britannia starts on Beeb 4 at 9pm Friday. Begins with the pre-punk years in the 70's.
