Back in the late eighties when I was in secondary school and the obligatory porn mags were doing the rounds, I remember obtaining a magazine that was not one of the common mags (yer Razzles, Men Only, Fiestas etc) but a less well know publicaton whose title Ive long since forgotton. Anyway I had two or three editions of this particular title and every month in the centre spread would be an unauthorised artists impression of a well known celebrity female naked. I thought it was quite a nice idea and the drawings were very well done, I think I remember seeing Ulrika Johnson and Phillipa Forrester in two editons. I wondered if anyone remebered the magazines name and more importantly if the idea was revised who you would like to see. I also wonder if it is/ was legal to publish the drawings as they were obvisously published without the knowledge or consent of the celeb.

The mag of which you speak doesn't ring any bells for me Spunkie, as by then I was living over in Germany and having my mind corrupted by continental hardcore smut from the likes of Teresa Orlowski, Private and CCC.

Regarding the "pornalike" artist's impressions to which you refer, you could have probably got away with it back then. But odds-on nowadays anyone publishing stuff like that would in no time at all have lawyers swarming over them like flies, with the celebs in question issuing haughty and self-righteous press statements about how "violated" they feel (while at the same time happily accepting fat five-figure fees for getting their funbags out in photoshoots for lad mags).

I do remember the magazine although sadly its title escapes me. The mag was published by Northern & Shell.

I don't see what objection any celeb could have. Caricatures appear in newspaper every day and no celeb has any say over that.
