Melanie Phillips certainly is for a start.

Left and right, they're all self serving cunts. On BGAFD we only have an obsessive agitator from the Left who reigns supreme atop the sand castle of BGAFD, if we had a Right Wing one as well, I can assure you, I'd be attacking him too.

Whether its Blair or Cameron, Ken Clarke or Lord Prescott, they're all obnoxious and I can't undertand why some will foam at the mouth in their rabid, crazed support for these people........it mystifies me!

Not entirely relevant to what I was saying Jim, but thanks for the contribution.

Andrew Lansley - definitely certifiable.
Eric Pickles - his brain's turned to fat. Very sad story.
Iain Duncan Smith - the "quiet" man should have taken his own advice and kept his gob shut.
Justine Greening - "remoding"? WTF!
Danny Alexander - he's in the wrong party. His embedded tape loop is sure to stop soon. Silence will be bliss.
Philip Davies - suggested minimum wage should be dispensed with for disabled people. Yeah, let's start off with mentally challenged people like you, Philip. Wot, you get the FULL MP's salary?

Jim Slip - don't be too harsh on yourself

Jim Slip quote, earlier this year
"Broadmoor is packed to the brim with highly, "Intelligent" people, but would you really want any of them in charge of the country? The ideal politico is a person who is highly intelligent, has his or her own set of political beliefs, but is also capable of balanced independent thought. I'd say Ken Clarke comes to mind, I can't actually think of anyone else off hand...."

Jim Slip quote, now
"Whether its Blair or Cameron, Ken Clarke or Lord Prescott, they're all obnoxious and I can't undertand why some will foam at the mouth in their rabid, crazed support for these people........it mystifies me!"

Don't run yourself down, Jimbo.

Everybody, please try and be tolerant of other peoples opinions. Things are only exacerbated when you try to marginalize others with different beliefs.

I can't remember who it was but a few years ago a Tory councillor sparked outrage when he belittled homeless people by saying they have nothing to complain about. He said they can find some nice ground to sleep on, and they can eat very well if they go fishing in the river Thames. He is certainly a right winger and he is certainly mad. Centre-right, that's me. Further right and extreme right I condemn. It's centre-right all the way baby!

Reigns supreme?

"On BGAFD we only have an obsessive agitator from the Left who reigns supreme atop the sand castle of BGAFD,"

Eh? If people want to read my posts, they will. If they don't they won't. And good luck to them either way. As for "reigns supreme" WTF?

And as for obsessive agitator, you obviously have a problem understanding simple English, Mr Slip

Sorry Andy, thought you had made an ironic and mischievous retort to the other thread, "Are all left wingers mad?"

It was meant as a joke really, as to many people she is known as 'Mad' Mel Philips, so half the work of deciding if she might be mad has been done for you.
