Cheerio Dalglish.

Anybody know if Ranieri, Scolari, Vilas Boas or indeed, that old favourite, Sven, are available?

Or alternatively, di Matteo could be available soon if he doesnt win the Champions League or even if he does.

It's a funny, old game.

Capello is available :(

Strange that Liverpool did so badly yet have so many in the England squad !shocked!
Glen Johnson, Stewart Downing, Steven Gerrard, Andy Carroll
with Jordan Henderson on standby. Oh dear !deadhorse!

Well at least with Hodgson in charge, they will be able to resume their successful club partnership

I have it on good authority that Scouse-loving Garry Neville is to take charge after the WC.

Interesting comments on Sky, Telegraph and BBC forums...didn't take one Scouse fan long to drag out the Hillsborough tragedy as to why KK should still be manager. Sentimentality is why LFC are now a mid table club living in the past. As for getting a superstar manager...not a chance.

I'm amazed that Carroll got the nod. So he scored 3 goals in the latter stages of the FA Cup (one of which hit him on the back of the head and went in). Big deal. The lad's a donkey.

But England has so few forwards???? Rooney misses two games who is left?

I would have taken and played Crouch as he has the experience and those jonney foreigners don't like it up em! They don't like it up em !football!

I agree, Crouch would have been a much better bet IMHO. But you're right, not too many options up front.

Guardiola said no. The Swansea manager doesn't want to talk to them and they now have been given permission to speak to Wigans Martinez. How the mighty have fallen.
