Nothing too good for the working man!

Rubbing knees with Rebecca Brooks on the 7.20am from Chipping Spudbury to London, is nothing sacred in politics? How could you Jack Straw?

Mind you, you have to give one thing to Brooks. She was an Olympic gold medalist schmoozer. If she had been working in the States, Obama would have been popping round every other day for Earl Grey tea and cupcakes.

Hot press: Apparently, David Cameron has asked Charlie Brooks that if he and Rebecca get sent down for a 2 stretch, can he have a couple of horses for him and Sammy. Dave never got over the police horse having to go back.

Why was an MP for Burnley , which I believe is in t'North, albeit on the wrong side of the Pennines, commuting from Oxfordshire anyway?

If you replace the name "Jack Straw" and insert ANY Tory/ Lib MP's name into the same story, David Johnson would be quivering on the floor, foaming at the mouth, having suffered from a cardiac arrest from the utter outrage of this atrocity!

However, being that it was a New Labour cabinet minister you get the predictable, "So what?". I reckon if the story was, Jack Straw dragged Rebekah Brooks into the toilet and sodomised her and as he exited the toilet with his trousers around his ankles, Ms Brooks was heard to shout, "Thanks for all that privy info, Jack, it will be really useful to Rupert!"

David Johnson would say, "So what, happens every day!"lol

David hearing the above story with a Tory MP:

David hearing same story, but with Jack Straw:
