This story has been covered by every major News organisation, for some reason the "pedophile" word is not used, it is just passed off as a "sex ring" why? Are they not pedophile's? Is this just PC bullshit?
Even "The Sun" didn't use the word pedophile,

They don't seem to have used the 'M' word either, despite it being the common denominator in these things.
Running scared of 'those who must never be criticised for anything ever' as usual.

Spot on Peter.
The Old Bill were falling over themselves claiming that it was "not racially motivated" as well. This despite the fact that this is just the latest in a long line of similar such Asian-on-white "sex rings".
But of course had it been the other way round with white men grooming Asian girls, you can bet that the media would now be foaming at the mouth about "racist pedophile gangs".

But it wasn't the other way around because Asians actually exercise some parental control over their kids, especially their daughters.
Having no control over your kids and letting them run wild seems to be something "white" people are good at.

Maybe so Spider, but hardly relevant to the subject of this thread, namely the way that this and similar cases have been spun by the media.

It's relevant to the comment you made....

I remember reading about a similar gang in North London going unpunished for years! You can trace this back to the nutball New Labour governments obsession with political correctness. NL were literally crippled by political correctness and like a cancer it had dribbled down into every nook and cranny of law enforcement. The fear of being exposed as a racist, being disgraced and then losing your job and pension.
Complaints to social workers and the police were ignored (Regarding this case) because they were "petrified of being called racist", former Labour MP for , Ann Cryer said. (Note this quote from a Labour MP, NOT the Daily Mail!)
So bad was it that those in power or responsibility, like police chiefs, were terrified of arresting or even questionning suspects in alleged paedo rings, if they were from the Asian community. I remember reading at the time, one police chief as saying it was not, "Helpful for race relations" to proceed with any vigour, claims made against such groups.
This is why with within weeks of New labour being booted out, I recall the first arrests being made. The cops must have been chomping at the bit to get their hands on these paedo cunts, as they should on any such group from what ever ethnic background.
We still live however in a slightly less tight grip of political correctness and this is why The Sun has not referred to this group as, "Vile paeodo scum!" which is the description they ALWAYS afford to such groups normally.

Let me ask you then Spider - for the sake of argument: had it been the other way round, how do you think the media would have portrayed it?

Don't know and don't really care.
I'm big enough and ugly enough have my own judgements about what I see in the media.
Having sat through the Leveson inquiry transmissions on the TV I think that's the best way.

It wasn't racially motivated because they were targeting 'non-Muslims'.
Race and religion are different things (though both stupid concepts).
Now that's cleared up, we can move on.
