Don't like either of them but if I'm forced to choose then I'm pleased that City won again.

If the Baggies, Liverpool or Arsenal are not able to win the league title then it may as well be City. I know we will never hear the end of it but just imagine if it gets won MU, Chelsea, Spurs or (God forbid) Newcastle - to them it would be Manifest Destiny geordie style.

Mr Purplenose did not look happy last night, which is bloody marvellous as he has got far too arrogant. Someone else winning the Premier League (as long as City don't botch it at Newcastle) will be good for the game.

Anything that upsets that miserable Scots bastard can't be bad.
I hate football, but, when I see Man U has been beaten I rejoice.

If you have a team with an owner who has taken half a billion pounds out of the company, playing a tram whose owner has put half a billion pounds into the company, it's amazing in a way that it was only 1-0. Anyone who thinks that either of these massive transfers of wealth is in any way good for football has got to be on skunk in a big way.

I couldn't give a shit about any of that. If we can now compete with Salford and indeed overtake them in the up and coming years/seasons, then that is just fantastic. He says skunk free !

My colleague is a life long City fan and now has an image of Fergie ranting on Monday as his screen saver!

Newcastle will be a hard place to go to. They've just turned over Chelsea away from home.

If I had to predict anything I'd predict City winning on goal difference. City will draw at Newcastle and United will win against Swansea. On the final day City will win against QPR and United will draw away to Sunderland.
