I saw the documentry but its nothing new that multi-nationals use criminal gangs to get what they want as happened in Columbia, you could boycott any products that Glencore handle but you will probably go hungry and cold..

Yes, these companies need to be exposed and shut down.
Xstrata are another disgusting company (based in Haymarket, central London) who destroy indigenous communities and murder the peasants who oppose the mines as it runs straight through their villages.

Why do I feel like I am on a conveyor belt of bullshit music and facts without any real source information when watching this video, it is like I should be happy and just believe it all?
Next thing you'll be telling me is if I don't recycle all my plastic the world will end!

Most plastics cost more to recycle than they do to produce so they end up in landfill or being incinerated, as we live in a plastic society i doubt if it will mean the end of the World but its fast coming to the stage where we will live and breathe plastic and probably die with it because if you are buried its almost impossible to dig a bit of ground without finding plastic in some form, and if you end up in the crem you may well have a plastic coffin even the flowers will be made of it, we are being taken over by plastic !wink!

"even the flowers will be made of it"
How nice!
Seriously this is a bit more to the point and trusted and tells us a somewhat less sensationalised version about what Glencore have been up 2,
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/17702487
Even the wiki entry has little spin but lots of "allegations" "accused" "allegations of corruption and severe human rights violations" "questions about transparency"
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glencore#Controversies
It just seem like a big conspiracy when watching the fast facts from the u-pipe video, sorry but I get fed up being spoken too like that and video's produced in that format come across as point making rubbish. am I wrong?
