I was browsing through the Sun in a motorway services and read this piece originting from Tony Blair's speech writer, Phillip Collins, that suggests they're all a bunch of back stabbing, greedy, cunts and the Tories aren't as bad as they seem.

Surely some mistake?

I wouldn't trust anything on one man's word alone. He might have an axe to grind - then there's Murdoch's rag, sensationalising it.

The only real quotes from that whole article are: "Yet he has just blasted his own comrades as ?poisonous? bullies driven by a ?torrent of bitter rages?.", and "?For all that they are known as the Nasty Party, the Tories actually behave rather nicely.?".

Calling someone 'poisonous' is very vague and meaningless. He doesn't go into any detail justifying the label.

'torrent of bitter rages' could just mean arguments over policies. You could turn that on it's head and say any party who doesn't quarrel over policies probably don't care enough to bother quarrelling........and who wants politicians who don't care?

Then there's the "For all that they are known as the Nasty Party, the Tories actually behave rather nicely.". Here they're specifically talking about behaviour, not their social philosophy or moral code. As has been pointed out by everyone that knew him, Anders Breivik's behaviour and demeanour was impeccable........he is though, I think you'll agree, a bit of an evil cunt.

Finally we have, "?no objective beyond dominating their fiefdom the better to pursue vendettas within?." That could be rewritten to say they'd do anything to get to the top which would give them the best opportunity to realise their plans and ambitions. I think that would describe a lot of people from all parties and businesses. Hardly damning.

The bits about Cameron and the Lib Dems aren't backed up by any quotes at all...........in layman's terms, they're made up.

I didnt know the Sun reported facts.

Given The Sun newspaper lean in favour of the Tories quite heavily it doesnt surprise me none they slagging off Labour...Did they really use the word "cunts" in their reporting?

How time has changed.

The Labour Party do not represent the working class and over half went to public school. They are inherently middle class hypocrites attempting to become upper middle class.

So true EroticArtist... it's all 'pretend' to keep the people thinking they are being looked after when in fact every political party so far have exploited the working class

The Labour party didn't go to school Mike but guessing your referring to some of the MP's.

With regards to Mr Slips point it's by Mr Slip so enough said although should point out Dave's comment at PMQ's today to one of his MP's which basically called him a stupid cunt only more politely
