Chris Huhne has resigned as the CPS charge him in connection with allegedly dodging a speeding offence. This happened in 2003, for fuck sake how much is this costing us and it is only a speeding ticket no one was hurt or injured?

When my camera was broken in a public place back in 2006 by a council official who was not happy with me talking picture and I was in the right, the CPS did jack all and told me or the police did, "it wasn't worth taking it to court," I then received a 25 pound cheque with a letter which contained some legal kind of wording from the Council people! CUNTS. So why is this being taken so seriously after all this time?

Of course she's a woman scorned, but she obviously thinks it a risk worth taking. She shopped him to get a lesser sentence incase it came out another way and she got hammered the same as him.
This bastard should be nailed to the wall. The CPS are not prosecuting this twatt because he is going to clear his name, this twatt is going down, just like that idiot Yeo. Perverting the course of Justice is a pretty serious offence. We either have a rule of Law or we don't. You can't cherry pick.

On the one hand, I am a bit surprised that he was forced to resign. What happened to the innocent until proven guilty concept? This has been dragging on so long I can't believe that putting together his defence would take that much time from his ministerial responsibilities.

On the other hand, if he is found guilty of conspiracy to pervert the course of justice it could well be a jail sentence. And that could be the end of his career as an MP.

Personally I have always found Huhne an odious little twerp. After spending years as a long-standing opponent of nuclear power, like a number of Lib Dems he completely dumped his beliefs when he smelt a cabinet position and then proceeded to tell us all how wonderful nuclear energy is.

No great loss, methinks.
