I really think she should knock it on the head with those comments or she might find herself being subject to a tweet that black MP like to divide and rule white people !laugh!
I don't mind controversial comments but hers are just crass and sweeping generalisations.
If she used the word "some" people like to divide and rule then it might have been open to debate but to alienate all white people is not good when you are an MP
As a politician she should display more tact
Hopefully she might rap NWA's Fuck Tha Police for YouTube....Now that would be amusing

Please don't for one second think that the fucking idiot is a true representative of Labour opinion.
Unfortunately Ed proved once again that he doesn't have the backbone needed to run the party, the sooner he and Abbott both fuck off the better.

They're supposed to be bright people. We can all make mistakes but hold your hands up. Don't try and explain it away as a contextualised statement that couldn't be expressed in 140 characters.
If you can't articulate what you want to say in 140 characters don't use Twitter. Simples.

It is Twitter that is the problem, yes she put something she shouldn't have but these politicians and celebrities constantly keep tripping themselves up with their posts on Twitter, you'd think they would be bright enough to keep off it.

"white people love playing divide and rule?
What do you think she actually meant by this?
And who was she directing this at?

She made unflattering, derogatory remarks about people of a certain skin colour. That, to me, is racist.
As long as these views don't affect how well she does her job, I have no problem with it.............if she'd kept her mouth shut. We cannot commit people for thought crime, after all. She didn't, though. She said something racist in the public arena and so Ed Milliband must sack her or send out the message his party don't take race bigotry seriously. Labour are a party who's constituencies cover large multi-ethnic, multi-racial, multi-cultural areas after all.
