This guy Alessio Rastani is a fraudster. He is an actor, his real name is Andy Bichlbaum and he is a member of an American organisation called 'The Yes Men'. He has duped so many people, including the BBC, and has gone to great lengths to convince people. He has even set up shrill websites. See the real person here:

The odd thing is that whoever he is, what he is saying is essentially true. For a trader, the market is neutral, it doesn't take sides. It can go up or down, but you can't fight it, you have to accept what it is doing and act accordingly. If the market fals rapidly it is possible to make a lot of money very quickly, and if you are in a position to do so, why wouldn't you? It's your job to try and make money in the markets as they are, not as you might like them to be.

I agree whoever he really is he talks a lot of sense, and because he reveals a lot about the global finacial institutions there will always be people trying to put him down just to shut him up...

Right. After all, when the shit hit the fan in 2008 and the banking system was on thw verge of collapse, it was Hank Paulson that addressed the world, not Bush...
Was He A Fraudster

I would just like to add that after he finished making his speech he then did a question & answer session and did have plausible answers for the many questions that were put to him, so if he was a fraudster then he was a very good one.
Also in the film you will see that he was interupted and he and everyone in the room was asked to move further down the room as people were queuing in the street to listen to him, and this was in the City of London on a Saturday which is normally very quiet so i guess a lot of people went out of their way to hear what he was saying.
He never gave any advice on buying or selling any specific stock he just stated that if a stock looks cheap to be wary as they can go all the way down to zero, so where is the fraud in that... you heard his speech in the film who was he trying to defraud ?
