Just seen on the news,the guy got a guilty verdict,rightly so,and had hardcore porn on his pc. Prepare for watching porn leads to murder backlash in the media.

Glad to hear that he was convicted of murder.

The idea of getting rebuffed by Jo Yeates in an attempt to kiss her, leading to an inadvertent strangling, strikes me as very far fetched.

Particularly in the light of all the bruises she had on her body.

By all accOunts the stuff he was into was pretty extreme S and M,not most peoples cup of tea,certainly not mine. But you know the media will say watching this stuff turns a normal person into a murderer,which is just barmy IMO.

A good samaritan may well have a hard drive full of porn but it's silent evidence.

When any military atrocity occurs there's a fair chance there would be porn in the barracks but again our attention would never be drawn to this.

Once again I cant see the relevance of a mans taste in porn having anything to do with him killing Jo Yeates as that would put any male that looks at naked pictures of girls in salacious scenarios as potential murderers. I guess we all are potential murderers if pushed to it in certain circumstances

No doubt if Vincent Tabak had bashed a man to death that would be put down to a porn frustration of sorts too

I would suspect a man who didnt have any vices. The more private the man the more likely that his tastes may run to the extreme but that doesn't mean he is any weirder than another man with a fetish

I don`t think the case has enough porn overtones to create a backlash, but
I do think - and have said several times on this website - that sooner or later
a high profile media murder, like the Tabak Case, will see the Brit Porn
Industry being kicked as the whipping boy-scapegoat. This is because a) porn
is so easily the kicking dog in such cases b) historically it is in the nature of
the British establishment to attack porn when it suits them.
My good friend, Jim Slip, usually writes and says everyone is so used to porn
in Britain now and loves all you pornographers so much that I am living in the
past. Maybe he`s right. But just wait for that multiple killer accomplice who is
a drugged-out ex-hooker who once was a "porn star", that mass-murderer who
tortures and kills, like the Wests, while watching Brit porn (in the old days it
had to be foreign muck but now there is plenty of UK filth).....and then, my
friends, your homegrown industry will be in the firing line.

Frank, I never maintained that the Establishment, "Love" the God fearing folk of porn. Worse in a way is that they don't give a toss, we In normal, "Vanilla" porn, are an irrelevance nowadays. If you read the case against Tabac, the prosecution is quite specific about him enjoying "Violent" pornography, involving the depiction of the strangulation of women.

However, being that every porn stud nowadays (if permitted) seems to have to throttle, slap and abuse whoever he happens to be working with and call the poor girl a string of insults, all because the dumb Yanks do it, I think we, in the vanilla world, may have got off with a lucky escape.

Luckily Tabac hadn't bothered to look at mainstream porn, where misogyny rules, so the media has presumed that this kind of behaviour is limited only to "Violent" style stuff. I have seen in recent months postings on the Promotions forum of websites that depict suggested violence and/ or brutal subdegation of women, to which there is never a murmur of protest, it is now considered the norm I suppose, well not by me, I hate and loathe the stuff.

So in short Frank you are sort of right, we will all be dragged down the pan one day, by some fucking psycho nutball, who throws a collection of "mainstream" porn at the jury and says, "I just did what they do in these films!"
