Conspiracy theories

Post by David Johnson »

For lovers of conspiracy theories I include the following:

I would be interested in forumites' explanation for these events. I include some possible reasons.

1. Mossad agents. Ask yourself why there were no Jewish people on the moon when the bomber crash landed?

2. MI6 plot to divert attention from gloomy economic outlook.

3. Attempt by UK to seize control of the moon in order to take advantage of oil deposits. THe moon is obviously a strategic staging post. Control the moon and you also control Saturn, Mars and the Milky Way. It may look like a bomber but I suspect it disguises the presence of a Johnson 9.3 BP 2.3 metre drill bore bit with diamond tip.

If forumites have any other explanation as believable as the above, please provide the info with supporting detail and links.

For those of you who regard this as total cock and bull, I think it is about time you opened up your mind and didnt just swallow what Western governments tell you.

Cheers

Of course the, Ben Elton ( without the laughs) of BGAFD cannot possibly consider the idea of an alternative view of the causes of 9/11 and anything he can't consider, he must mock and ridicule.

After all he was standing there, wiping the tears from his eyes, clutching his New Labour rossette cheering, as warmonger and maniac, Tony Blair and his murdering cronies, unleashed death and destruction on 10's thousands of innocent women and children in the Middle East.

So now he must support the Official Version of 9/11, no matter how nonsensical, until the death, why? Because of his pathetic and petulant support of the immoral decisions of the party that he loves.

He is a born politician, ready to stamp on any moral values, when it comes to scoring a pathetic political point. No wonder the World is constantly at war!

David - I know you are a wag, a satirist up there with Defoe and Swift,
a jester of the first order, but the silly story you use to lampoon Mr Slip,
or even myself (and I am no conspiracy theorist, just someone recently
concerned with a fishy looking chain of events) is not worthy of you. In
fact an outrageous claim (about the Moon) is not in itself a conspiracy
story. Just plain daft !
Do US Govt conspiracies exist ? Well here is a real one for you. I see that
"Fair Game", the movie starring Naomi Watts and Sean Penn, based on
Valerie Plame`s personal published account, is now in the dvd rental
shops....have a look at it....You may recall the story - Valerie`s husband
Joe was the US Ambassador sent to Niger to check out the story that it
had exported 40 tons of uranium to Iraq. He found out the story was
utter rubbish, told the CIA this and watched in amazement during Bush`s
State of the Union address when he told the world that the uranium
export existed !! Furious that his honour was impunged, Ambassador
Wilson then told the Press that the uranium did not exist. That the White
House was concocting a casus belli ("excuse for war) using false non-
existent weapons of mass destruction.
The White House retaliated by "outing" his wife as a CIA deep-cover
agent. This resulted, in her opinion, in the death of over 70 spies
around the world, mainly in Iraq. Since "outing" the CIA is a criminal
offence, the FBI investigated and Cheney aide Scooter Libby got sent
to gaol - only to be pardoned by Cheney ("I am not having one of my
guys in gaol", he said).
Conspiracies exist David. They are often very very hard to prove. Please
wise up and stop being so smug

"In fact an outrageous claim (about the Moon) is not in itself a conspiracy

"Outrageous?". Perhaps from your standpoint, Frank. No. A consipiracy claim is one made by people who tend to believe it. Whether other people like yourself choose to lampoon the idea and call it plain daft, is entirely your prerogative.

So for example, there are many millions apparently in the US who believe that Obama is part of a conspiracy of Muslim extremists who are not American citizens and have taken over the US government. One man's conspiracy theory is another man's idiocy. People examine the evidence such as it is and make their own decision. Many might regard the theory as "plain daft".

People are entitled to believe in conspiracy theories such as Obama is a non-American, Muslim extremist, the CIA timed the explosion of their offices in WTC 7 and the attack on the Pentagon to coincide with the Twin Towers attack or indeed that a World War II bomber was found on the Moon.

They are entitled to believe these conspiracy theories. Likewise, you, Jim Slip and I are entitled to lampoon these ideas if we wish.

"Conspiracies exist David. They are often very very hard to prove."

I know. Have I said otherwise anywhere?

"Please wise up and stop being so smug"

Irrespective of being called smug and implicitly that I am stupid, I am entitled to my beliefs as are you and insults from your good self and Jim Slip will have no impact whatsoever on those beliefs.

Enjoy your day

The Sunday Sport is/was (I dont know if it even exists anymore) such a daft paper that I'm surprised anyone ever bought a copy. I remember some of these headlines, another was how Adolf Hitler was actually a woman. Does the paper still exist?

Simple answer is 4.

Sunday Sport was owned by David Sullivan at the time!

Well done that man.

In the absence of the Sunday Sport and Daily Sport which bit the dust earlier this year, a year's subscription to the Daily Star is winging its way to you, Alex.

Happy reading

A conspiracy exists when people believe a story ? So say you Mr J. But
your moon tale - and you know I right David - is not a conspiracy at all.
It was simply a yarn and such a tall tale that The Sun could not resist it
for a headline. In other words its so outrageous it helps sell the paper.
Journalists on tabloids love tosh. You know this too.
That is different from people who have studied an event and believe
facts do not add up or give grave cause for doubt. That does not make
them right. They can be foolish too. Cranky. With tunnel vision. But to
say the 360 American architects who have serious concerns about WTC 7
are in the same basket as a man who accepts your moon story is to do
those men a grave injustice.
Why, in God`s name, you cannot accept what I said several messages ago
- that with conspiracies - which do occur and can be documented - it is best to keep an open mind ?
What is starting to bother me rather more is that a) maybe you are a
fundamentalist believer in Big Govt and the glorious USA never wrong (and
I took you for a man with more sense) or b) your ego prevents you from
accepting a different point of view (which is what your eminence grise, Mr
Slip, constantly witters on about) ?
So, David, lets clear this up ? Do you or do you not believe in any
conspiracies of the past fifty years ? If so, what ?
